Birthday Celebrations aim to help hundreds in India get clean drinking water - Saturday 24th October 2009

During October, the Graphical Website Directory - Quoakle.com celebrates its third birthday.
Quoakle staff wanted to do something a bit different from the usual sort of celebration and have hatched a plan to help a third world charity.

Keeping it in the family, Quoakle's Head of Web Development, Mark Finney has teamed up with dad, Steve, who works for the Christian Charity Interserve. One of Interserve's projects is helping villages in North India get clean drinking water by digging new wells.

On Saturday 24th October, Steve is going to drive his Interserve promotional rickshaw into the centres of Cheltenham, then Gloucester. He hopes to arrive in Cheltenham about 12 o'clock, staying until 2.00p.m. before moving on to Gloucester for a couple of hours between 3.00 and 5.00p.m. Shoppers will be treated to some quality busking from Quoakle staff cum musicians. On the guitar will be Ben Steele, keyboard Mike Gladwell and Saxophone Tim Steele. The Churcham-based company is hoping its third birthday celebrations will raise a few hundred pounds towards Interserve's clean water project.
